Bogdan Fiedur is a software develper, an entrepreneur, family man, kayaker, dog-owner & Polish-Canadian.
Bogdan has a passion for traveling and has visited 24 countries including: Poland, Germany, Czech, Slovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Morrocco, Pakistan, India, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mongolia, Russia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Andorra, United States, England, Peru and Canada., Singapore, Japan, China, South Korea, Bahamas, and Panama
In 1986, Bogdan's passion for travleing brought him on an expedition to India where he went white water kayaking in the Himalayas.
Bogdan's education began in Poland where he completed a 5 year Master's program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Mining and Metallury in Cracow, Poland.
In Canada, Bogdan graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science (1994). He began the degree only three months after immigrating to Canada, and completed the four year program in two and a half years so he could provide for his wife and two children. After completing his degree he worked for Projestics, a sytems development company, and eventually at the Canadian Wheat Board as a Senior Programmer. It was during his spare time that he was able to
start his first company, a software development company called Softfornet Solutions Ltd. and eventually an online classifieds business called Adlandpro in 1998.
Bogdan Fiedur's Adlandpro.com is a small business with huge successes. Adlandpro has over 100 000 registered Affiliates and is known as one of the first social networking websites to ever be created.
Bogdan Fiedur's work is also recognized in the Polish community. He received an award from the Polish Business Club for "Keeping in touch with the Motherland" at the International Polonia Conference in Warsaw, Poland. He also received an award from the Polish Canadian Congress in recognition of his volunteer services for the Polish Manitoban community.
Bogdan is married to his wife, Alicia and has two daughters in their twenties. The rest of Bogdan's family lives in his beautiful home country of Poland.
